Join us for the Llangollen repair cafe on the 3rd Saturday of each month and bring along your broken items for repair, free but donations to help us keep running are most welcome.
We are ready to help you fix your belongings and reduce waste in the community.
Or come and have a drink and cake, and meet up with old friends or make new ones.
We need volunteers including people who think they can help us run our cafe, by chatting to people, helping with forms, serving tea or mending things. Come and find out what its like to be a volunteer.
Do you want to learn new skills for your CV or want to learn how to fix things, then come and talk to us no obligation, find what suits you.
Types of things repaired so far, vacuum cleaners clocks, lawnmowers, toasters ,hedge trimmers, toys, clothing, bags and lots more.
If we can't fix it on the day, we may give advice on how to fix it yourself if you feel confident, but not electrical items or things that could be dangerous.
We encourage people to stay with their item to watch it being repaired, as you may learn a new skill
We also do PAT testing on small electrical items.
There are books for reference on how to fix things, health, consumer rights information, support groups and lots more.
please note we close at 12 noon, so items need to be brought in before 11.30 am unless its a very quick fix or advice.
