Calling all poetry lovers! LJMU Library invites you to immerse yourself in the rhythm and beauty of live poetry. Whether you're a budding bard or an enthusiastic audience member, our Poetry Open Mic is the perfect stage for voices of every language and style.

Doors open at 16:30 for a 17:00 start—bring your own poems, share a favourite, or simply come along to soak up the atmosphere. All languages are welcome to perform, reflecting the vibrant diversity of our community.

Light refreshments will be available and tickets are free ! But spaces are limited, so please book in advance if you plan to attend. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate words, voices, and creativity—see you there!
