An international phenomenon, GRAMMY Award-winning tabla virtuoso Zakir Hussain is one of the foremost percussionists of the contemporary world. Widely recognized as a chief architect of the world music movement, Hussain has participated in historic collaborations, including Shakti, Remember Shakti, and his ever-changing musical feast, Masters of Percussion, a platform for rarely heard rhythm traditions from India.
