Following their much-loved and deeply resonant performance at Paddington Uniting Church, two of Australia’s most compelling and exploratory artists — Liz Martin and Inga Liljeström — return for a special follow-up performance. This time, they bring their evolving work to the beautifully atmospheric Annandale Creative Arts Centre, offering a fresh space for new sonic and visual experiences.
Liz Martin Band brings a bold and dynamic energy to the stage — honest, brooding, and rhythmically rich. This new full-band configuration premieres a fresh set of songs that blend the intimate and poetic with the electric and expansive, marking an exciting new chapter in Martin’s sound.
Her distinctive voice and genre-defying style have been described as “wildly eclectic,” “evocative,” and “strangely comforting” — guiding listeners through a deeply personal and richly textured sonic journey.

Inga Liljeström is known for her cinematic, spellbinding ballads rooted in dark Nordic folk, and for a voice described as "fragile, vulnerable, beautiful… heartbreaking… both poisonous and addictive." In this intimate performance, she unveils a powerful evolution in her sound — presenting new songs shaped by stark guitar lines, ambient vocal layers that rise like ghost choirs, and delicate threads of orchestration that move through shadow and light.
Adding to the immersive experience, original animations created from Inga’s own collage works — animated by immersive artist Anna Fraser — bring a striking visual dimension, casting dreamlike imagery across the performance.
