As the first concert in our Rising Stars Concert Series for 2024, Lixin will show his talent on the piano. Lixin is a brilliant Christchurch pianist currently studying music at Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles with Fabio Bidini. Lixin is competing in an international competition in Utah this June where he has been selected from 333 pianists to be a quarter finalist (he is one of just 37 chosen!). Join us to hear Lixin in concert before he heads off overseas. Tuesday 21 May | 1.10 - 1.50pm | Great Hall
This concert is part of the Rising Stars Concert Series 2024. A Tuesday lunchtime concert series that’s encouraging, supporting, nurturing and providing a performance platform for emerging young musicians.
