Darren is the epitome of middle-aged manhood. His life is filled with all the good things that a stable marriage, and ordinary home life and the “usual” cultural and relationship norms bring. But that is the outer Darren.
The inner Darren lives in a world that the “real” world never sees. It’s an alternate world where he knows himself by more than just another name. It’s a world in which only he exists and with him, his secret. His secret brings him, conflict, confusion, fear, guilt, betrayal and he has to fight with all these issues every hour of every day.
The real problem comes when he can no longer stop his inner Darren mingling with his outer Darren. Life is becoming impossible, time is running out because Darren is trying to please two people in one body.
