Living Voices presents Through the Eyes of a Friend

Through the Eyes of a Friend offers a powerful, personal window into the world of Anne Frank and young people who experienced the Holocaust. Told from the perspective of a historically accurate composite character based on real accounts from those who knew Anne—this performance blends live theatre with archival footage to explore themes of identity, resistance, loss, and courage.

Using historical perspectives based on real people and events, Living Voices combines live performance with audio/video, visual aids, and discussion. Archival film and photos, blended with sound and synchronized with a live actor, provide a dynamic, interactive experience of how the world looked, sounded, and felt during a significant time in history.
