Dillon Ryan & the Dream Romantic are an infectiously talented and refreshingly distinctive new wave band from the East Coast of Canada. The band is authentically breathing new life into the underexplored genres of new wave, goth and post punk. Their inspiration from the Smiths, Echo & Bunnymen and the Cure is marvelously palpable in their material yet their work remains completely fresh. Their hauntingly melodic landscapes swallow you into a cinematic gothic universe. It's soothing yet scary and you just can't get enough.
The perpetually evolving artist shows no signs of slowing down. It is clear he was born to play music and that trajectory has led him down an illustrious path. Dillon Ryan & The Dream Romantic weave melodic lullabies and gothic ballads that cling to listeners. Their poetic songwriting paired with a beautifully melancholic sonic landscape is an enthralling void to lose yourself to. In a world oversaturated with pathological positivity it's exciting to hear such an emotionally generous band. Their music somehow makes you want to dance and cry at the same time, it's a rare and honest dichotomy.
Run The River is a melodic pop rock band from Fredericton, New Brunswick, known for their raw energy, soaring melodies, and emotionally charged storytelling. Their music dives into the highs and lows of life, often shining a light on mental health and personal struggle.
Described as “the next big thing out of New Brunswick” by Terry Parker of Atlantic Axess, the band has made waves across the Maritimes—headlining The Boondocks Music Festival, earning a spot as a finalist in Harvest Festival’s Stingray Rising Stars contest, performing on the main stage at The Larlee Creek Hullabaloo two years in a row, playing the Halifax waterfront during the ECMAs, and rocking the PEI Beer Garden.
A self-produced solo artist and the founder of MORSAMOUR Studios, Alexander Flexman crafts a dark, atmospheric sound that channels the spirit of legends like The Sisters of Mercy while standing alongside contemporary acts such as Vandal Moon.
Her creative reach extends well beyond her solo work. Alexander has collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Michael J Foxx, Chase Clarke, Dillob Ryan, CASEY TRIP, Spookykemo, and has composed soundtracks for production groups like Experimental Entertainment and independent creators.
A captivating live performer, Alexander brings a commanding presence to the stage, honed by years of vocal training and an award-winning theatre background. She has performed at notable events and venues including Fredericton Pride, Officers' Square, and AREA 506. At the end of 2025, Flexman formed a band for her music called ''Alexander Flexman & The Black Moon'', Made up of composer, producer, songwriter, lead singer & rhythm guitar player Alexander Flexman, lead guitarist James Morrison, drummer Sean Keenan & bassist David Edwards.
CBC Frederictons interviewer Wolf Castle states "at just 20 years old, she is just beginning her career, but the passion is there & its infectious." "There's this unique, new-wave, kind of gothic flare that's instilled in her tracks.''
With a unique synthesis of classic gothic textures and a fiercely independent production style, Alexander Flexman is a vital new force in the genre and beyond.
