Join us at CUSP for two thrilling Space Brain Hack Challenges! 🚀 We'll dive into past challenges from 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, exploring how astronauts solve real-life space problems. Together, we'll uncover what it takes to live and grow food on the Moon!

🧠 Space Brain Hack 2022-2023: Mental Health in Space

As Canada and the global space community prepare for the Artemis and Gateway missions, astronauts will face longer and more challenging space journeys. This challenge asks:

💡 How can astronauts maintain their mental health and well-being on deep-space missions?

Your mission:
✅ Design a solution to provide astronauts with sensory stimulation or a virtual escape from their stressful environment
✅ Create a way for astronauts to stay connected with family, friends, and Earth

🌱 Space Brain Hack 2023-2024: Growing Food on the Moon

Astronauts on long missions need fresh, nutritious food to stay healthy. Your challenge:

🍽️ You are a future lunar astronaut on a one-year mission. How will you produce fresh food on the Moon?

Your mission:
✅ Design a food production system that provides astronauts with flavorful, nutrient-rich food
✅ Ensure minimal waste while supplementing their packaged meals
✅ Feed a crew of four with a sustainable food source

Following the Living on the Moon activity, the youth will engage in a creative art session with our Art Teachers every Sunday. They will work on a variety of projects that encourage self-expression and artistic development.

Parents are welcome to pick up their children between 16:45 and 17:00.
