LIVING/EDGE
About this Event
Welcome to the LIVING/EDGE, a solo dance-theater playscape about the bigly mess of being alive. Created in response to the sudden and unexpected loss of his mother, Adam brings forward the emotions, senses, and remarkable delight of sharing time together. This original work is deeply inspired by uses of improvisation and the grotesque to ask, “what happens after the big moment passes me by?”
Created and performed by Adam Kerbel
Outside eye by Annie Peterson and Gene Farbe
Dramaturgical support by BodyMeld
Creative troublemaking by Paul Matteson with musical contributions by Joshua Cabitac
Supported in part by residencies through WIP LA, Philadelphia Dance Projects, and The Shalom Center
Please note: This performance contains full nudity and mature themes.
