Living Art Camp

3 meals per day, transportation for field trips, technology devices, art supplies and camp t-shirts will be provided!

Living Art Camp is not just a safe, fun, free, fantastic art camp! Living Art Camp gives kids a way to express themselves and learn about their culture! Each day, students will be led by near-peer instructors, community volunteers and industry professionals in engaging hands-on, multimedia activities that will help them develop observation and technical skills in drawing, painting, music production, photography, animation and various other art forms. Camp will end with a celebratory gallery walk event that will showcase students’ creative art and portfolios.

To register for this event, parents / guardians will need to complete the application by providing student information and parent contact information. Due to CDC guidelines, we will only be able to accept 15 students at this time and remaining applicants will be waitlisted. Students must be current 6th, 7th or 8th graders. Participants will also need to complete COVID-19 / Student Liability Waiver / Release Forms. CDC guidelines will be enforced for the safety of all. The following applicants are given top priority:

1. Friendship West members

2. GT / AVID students

3. A/B Honor Roll or equivalent students

4. Students who have demonstrated a love of art
