Livin’ Dark Daze is a powerful mix of groove and melody, constantly inspired by the world around them. The band was founded in 2017 by leading member and singer Buster Grant from the great metal city of San Antonio, Texas.
In 1982, Grant fronted the legendary band Wyzard, who alongside Texas Metal forefathers SA Slayer, Watchtower, Hellstar, Militia, and Juggernaut, paved the way for many more metal bands to follow in the history of the Texas Metal Scene.
Buster’s longtime friend Rob Ferebee (lead vocalist for FreakHouse) fit right in with Buster’s unique vocal signature. This combination was able to sustain a “Joint Vocal Effect” the band was founded upon. The two had always hinted at starting a project together, so Rob was happy to provide the foundational element of bass and vocals on this project.
To add to the arsenal, additions Albert, Chris, Justin and Dave (Drummer for DeathDodger) joined the effort during the pandemic. A sevenstring monster was created using 3 guitars ; including members from several prolific tributs, Freaks on a Leash a tribute to KoRn, and Animosity a live tribute to Sevendust.
