Capital Green A Cappella is proud to host our first invitational at 7 PM on November 9th from Lansing Community College’s Dart Auditorium! Join us for some outstanding A Cappella featuring three exceptional groups coming to perform on the banks of the Red Cedar.

THE GROUPS:

Pitches and Notes, UW-Madison’s all-treble a cappella group, brings a fresh, bold sound to every stage. As ICCA champions in 2022, they’ve made waves in the collegiate a cappella world with their rich harmonies, versatile performances, and powerful arrangements. Known for capturing the spirit of their campus community, Pitches and Notes is a celebrated part of UW-Madison’s music scene, showcasing the creativity and talent of their members in each performance.

Gold Vibrations from Oakland University is an a cappella group that’s all about tight harmonies and strong stage presence. Known for their detailed arrangements and expressive style, they regularly compete in the ICCA and have built a reputation for memorable performances. Covering everything from pop to soul, this group brings passion and skill to each show, elevating the music scene at OU and beyond since 2009.

Voices in Your Head, one of the University of Chicago’s standout a cappella groups, combines powerful performances with inventive arrangements. As the 2024 LAAF (Los Angeles A Cappella Festival) champions, they’re recognized for pushing the boundaries of contemporary a cappella, blending pop, rock, and R&B influences with captivating storytelling. Voices has also made a mark on the ICCA stage, often advancing to finals, and is celebrated on campus for the creativity and energy they bring to each performance.
