To launch the Liverpool Institute of Child Health and Wellbeing (LICHW) Lecture Series, Professor John Chester will deliver the inaugural lecture, “Everything must change: molecular, professional and organisational evolution.”
The lecture will offer a light-hearted, interactive reflection on the benefits of health research, illustrated through examples from John’s distinguished career. It is designed to be accessible to a broad audience and to stimulate discussion about child health and well-being.This lecture marks the start of an ongoing LICHW lecture series, a joint strategic initiative between Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust and the University of Liverpool, with additional funding from Alder Hey Children’s Charity. Future lectures will feature local, national, and international experts across clinical and academic disciplines relevant to child health and well-being.

Open to all with an interest in improving the lives and life chances of children and young people, including researchers, clinicians, carers, children and young people, families, and communities.
