"The Wild Robot" by Peter Brown is the chosen book Livermore Reads Together (LRT) 2025. It is the first middle-grade book selected for this program, bringing a fresh perspective to our city-wide reading experience. "The Wild Robot" tells the enchanting story of Roz, a robot who mysteriously washes ashore on a remote island. As she learns to survive in the wild, Roz discovers friendship, compassion, and the true meaning of life. Packed with adventure, heartwarming moments, and a unique blend of nature and technology, this tale is perfect for readers of all ages who love a touch of wilderness and wonder. During March 2025, all are welcome to check out a copy of "The Wild Robot" from Livermore Public Library (audiobooks and ebooks count too). Let's read together, connect, and discuss the LRT title you voted for. We will host a series of events celebrating the themes in "The Wild Robot."
