Rinalds Maksimovs
A Latvian drummer, composer who is blending his jazz and avantgarde influenced drumming style with electronic music. His music has elements of ambient, minimalism, avantgarde jazz, rave and rock music. Rinalds has experience playing a very wide range of genres. He studied jazz music in Riga, Latvia (Riga Dome Choir School) and music performance in Copenhagen (Rhythmic Music Conservatory) and has big experience with improvised music. He has performed with some of the top voices in the Scandinavian improvised music scene such as Jacob Anderskov, Tomas Franck, Steve Vanoni, Anders Christensen, Brice Soniano, Devin Gray and others. Now Rinalds lives in Latvia where he performs with Latvian indie rock and pop bands and is working on his debut solo recording which will be released in 2025.
