Varmt välkomna till läsårets första livejazzbar, eller som denna upplaga tituleras: Gospeljazzbaren!
Denna kväll kommer ni nämligen att få höra musik i gränslandet mellan jazz och gospel, det allra bästa av två världar. Kvällen till ära gästas vi dessutom av en av landets ledande jazzsaxofonister, tillika alldeles nybliven Uppsalabo, Klas Toresson! Med sitt melodiska tonspråk och varma ton i saxofonen går hans spel rakt in i hjärtat på vilken åhörare som helst, och han kommer garanterat att flyga som en fågel genom gospeljazzen!
Som alltid följs konserten av en öppen jam session, så ta med era instrument, stämband och bästa musikhumör! Varmt välkomna!

A warm welcome to the first live jazz bar of the academic year, or as this edition is titled: the Gospel Jazz Bar!
This evening, you’ll get to hear music that bridges the gap between jazz and gospel, the very best of both worlds. To mark the occasion, we’re also joined by one of the country’s leading jazz saxophonists, and brand new Uppsala resident, Klas Toresson! With his melodic style and warm tone on the saxophone, his music goes straight to the heart of any listener, and he’s guaranteed to soar like a bird through the gospel jazz!
As always, the concert will be followed by an open jam session, so bring your instruments, your singing voices, and your best musical spirit! A warm welcome!
