Join us for August's session of Understand & Empower: Monthly Cancer Education titled, "Lived Experience: Brain Health."
Join us for a conversation about the role nutrition plays in supporting brain health. Through guided table discussions, participants will explore brain-healthy eating habits, share practical strategies for managing cognitive changes and everyday wellness, and learn from one another's experiences.
Whether you're newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, living in survivorship, caring for a loved one, or simply interested in learning more about brain health, you'll find a welcoming space for connection, encouragement, and shared learning.
Open to adults of any age in the Flint Hills region affected by cancer or simply interested in overall brain health. No registration necessary. Visit www.meadowlark.org to learn more.
This event is free to attend. Please call (785) 323-3878 with questions.
Understand & Empower is a monthly education series designed to inform, encourage, and connect adults affected by cancer. Each session explores a new topic—such as treatment side effects, emotional wellness, nutrition, communication, caregiving, self-care, and more
