HALLOWEEN strikes upon WORM and this concert merges the eerie with the avant-gardeFor those who are looking to dress up and rave before vanishing back into the shadows, this Halloween will feature acts such as; RADVLAD, a delusional pop star navigating the digital abyss, Plastic Persoon, an anti-status-quo duo embodying the chaos of modern life, and SNAKEATSNAKE, a one-man electro bunker project rising from Sofia’s industrial underbelly. RADVLAD (MK/NL)
RADVLAD is the musical project of North Macedonian, Netherlands-based artist Vladimir Vidanovski. With crunchy pop tunes, deep raver beats, and cinematic soundscapes, Vladimir explores the confluence of virtual worlds and our physical reality and its influences on queer bodies, allowing his body to become a vessel for narratives relating to identity politics and pop culture. While performing as RADVLAD, he becomes a fictional character inspired by digital media, a delusional popstar driven by Internet consumption, an ‘idol’ fuelled by the Millennial need for validation.
Plastic Persoon (NL)
An Avant Gabber duo consisting of Sob (45ACIDBABIES, FFOOSS) and Arjuna (Imhotel, Gita Buhari). Both antisocial and hard, recognizable for people who want change. Kicking against the status quo every minute of every day is exhausting. Plastic Persoon is a coping mechanism. Plastic Person is everyone. Everyone is Plastic Person. A Real-life ad. A Balenciaga dragon.
SNAKEATSNAKE (BG)
Electro Bunker Music (EBM) one-man project from the depths of underground sewers and nuclear shelters. Asbestos dust, hardened grease oil, exposed cables, footsteps left in time, and hundreds of meters of tunnels with no exit. Darkwave / Industrial / Synthpunk / Electronics / Electro body music / Ritual.
