Live, Work, Thrive North! shines a light on the unique strength of the Northside economy — where underemployed, inspired, and supported talent meets stable, emerging, and growing companies. The Tweny Five registrants that attend receive a $25 Gift Card.

Hosted by the Northside Neighborhood Jobs Network—led by The Neighborhood Hub and the RiverNorth Foundation, with support from Emerge and The City of Minneapolis—this event highlights how residents, employers, and partners are working together to create meaningful, sustainable employment right here in our community.

6:15–7:30 PM – Employer Presentations
Hear directly from Northside employers about their history, products, and the jobs that power their businesses. Each company will have 10 minutes to share:

• Their origin story and connection to North Minneapolis
• The products and services they create and deliver
• The jobs they hire for—including pay ranges and career trajectories
• Their vision for growth and partnership with the Northside community

• MPMA – The Minnesota Precision Manufacturers Association connects hundreds of advanced manufacturing companies, promoting high-skill, high-pay careers and training across the state’s growing industrial sector.
• George Modular – Minnesota-based builder redefining construction through precision-made modular buildings. Creates sustainable housing and facilities while offering skilled manufacturing and trade careers.
• Metro Transit – Connecting 200,000 riders daily across the Twin Cities. Metro Transit provides family-sustaining jobs with benefits in driving, maintenance, safety, and operations—powering equitable mobility.
• Minneapolis Public Schools – Serving every neighborhood, MPS employs educators, drivers, and support staff dedicated to student success. Offers meaningful, stable careers shaping the city’s future.
• Jerry’s Foods Wholesale Bakery – Supplying fresh baked goods to stores and restaurants statewide. Offers dependable, team-oriented jobs in production, packaging, and distribution with room to grow.
