Hosted by MelanIN Medicine with support from community partners, Live Well Boston! is a family-friendly event that will feature opportunities to learn, move, and connect with local organizations committed to improving the health and well-being of our community.

Main Stage Sessions
Zumba with Flo
Florence, a.k.a., "Flo" is a Community Wellness Advocate and a Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor with more than 10 years of experience dedicated to helping individuals and communities live healthier, happier lives.
Her passion is keeping her community healthy, active, and motivated. She believes that wellness should be accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for everyone. She is currently teaching Zumba Fitness at Crunch Fitness and the Roslindale Community Center. Previously, she taught at Boston University for six years and at the Mattahunt Elementary School during the summers of 2023 and 2024. She is also a sub for the YMCA.
Afro-Caribbean Dance Fitness with LaKeisha
Lakeisha, a proud Haitian-American dancer, is your go-to source for unparalleled dance energy and joy. While her love for dance has always been undeniable, her professional journey began in earnest in 2017 after three years with Boston College’s traditional African dance team, Presenting Africa To yoU (PATU). It was during this time that she fell deeply in love with African dance, igniting a lifelong passion for the art form. Since then, she has co-led Afrobeats Dance Boston, with whom she has performed all over Massachusetts, from the Celtics halftime show to your local baby shower. She is now a BAYO resident dancer, performing on stages in Boston and New York City.
Functional Training with Coach Quise
Quise is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Strength & Conditioning Coach with a passion for helping people build strength, confidence, and sustainable wellness habits. His coaching style brings together functional movement, strength, and high energy while creating an environment that is approachable and engaging for all fitness levels.
Stretch Session with Patricia of PFitness
Patricia McCallum is the owner and founder of P Fitness Inc., a boutique fitness studio in Dorchester, MA. With over 12 years in the fitness industry, she has helped women, seniors, and families build strength, confidence, and healthier lifestyles through movement. Patricia specializes in strength training, HIIT, and sculpt classes, all set to beat-driven music designed to keep you motivated, challenged, and having fun while you move.
Live Cooking Demonstration with Chef Chris
Chef Chris Faison is a chef, culinary educator, and Hell’s Kitchen alum with more than 15 years of experience in the culinary industry. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, his cooking blends classical technique with bold Southern, Caribbean, African, and global influences.
Currently a Culinary Arts educator at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Boston, Chris is passionate about using food as a tool for education, opportunity, and community. His work is centered on inspiring the next generation of chefs while creating delicious, culturally relevant food that brings people together.

We’ll have complimentary snacks and beverages available throughout the event, with Swerv Catering and Cinsational Dining offering affordable lunch plates featuring balanced portions that align with our healthy living theme.
