Live! Summer Concert Series Presents: Acoustic Songwriters Soirée

Join us for an elegant evening of live music as four of Rochester's most loved songwriters perform live at the Rochester Academy of Medicine's Performance Hall on Friday, August 16 at 8PM.

Cammy Enaharo is a singer-songwriter from Rochester, NY whose songs move through self doubt and daily reflection to reveal her hopeful spirit. She paints, creates displays with flowers she’s preserved, and records music in various styles including indie-folk and pop.

Enaharo started sharing original songs recorded in her bedroom on Soundcloud back in 2012 and with support from her local and online community has been collaborating in different music projects since, including Gold Koa and Ben Morey & the Eyes.

She has two solo releases including her first 2013 EP “A Different Kind of Comfortable” and 2015 Album “From the Garage.” Her two full band releases “Cammy Enaharo & Dessert” and “Hard To Look At” include bandmates Gary Lamaar, Ryder Eaton and Jared Tinkham.

Helene Biandudi Hofer, host and producer of WXXI’s Need to Know said: “When you listen to her music, you can’t help but to connect in some way or another with the words, even if they don’t spell out situations you’ve been through. She amazingly creates empathy through her lyrics and music".

Adrianna Noone is an indie/folk/americana singer-songwriter born and raised in Rochester, NY. Her songs tell tales of love and heartache, blending indie and rock with a slight yankee twang.

Noone has shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, and opened for Lyle Lovett and Jade Bird. This past year, two of her songs, “Lies” and “Left Things,” were recognized as semi-finalists in the International Songwriting Competition.

She continues to tour the Northeast and Midwest solo and with her self-titled band.

Sarah De Vallière is an award-winning songwriter and composer whose music cuts through the clutter. A classically trained pianist and Berklee College of Music alumna with a background in film scoring, De Vallière's latest effort, "The Healing" (June 2024) features songs that synthesize her influences and unique musical background. This deeply personal 10-song concept album navigates the universal themes of trauma, grief, and the redemptive power of healing through its rich genre-bending soundscape, melodic storytelling, and visceral vulnerability.
Notable collaborators include Damon Grant (Mary J. Blige, Eric Hutchinson), Kurt G. Johnson (Maybird, Mikaela Davis), and members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, who help her weave a tapestry of sound reminiscent of the '70s Laurel Canyon era punctuated with layers of wide-ranging influences. Everything from the progressive tonality of jazz to the carefully crafted lyrics of Folk-Americana, and the emotional, cinematic quality of Romantic-Era classical music finds its way onto this album, reimagining what a song can be.

In addition to performing and recording her own music, De Vallière continues to compose for various film and game projects, is co-leader of the Nashville Songwriters Association (NSAI) Rochester Chapter, and frequently records piano, keyboards, and vocals for numerous songwriters and composers throughout the country.

Elaina Alston is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Rochester, NY. During the Pandemic, she found her love for music again and began releasing covers online and over time this caught the attention of some local music venues. Once businesses started to reopen, Elaina found herself becoming a part of the local music community.In the summer of 2022, she had the wonderful opportunity of opening up for Danielle Ponder at the Rochester Pride Festival and this projected her musical career even further. Ever since then, Elaina has performed at the Rochester Lilac Festival (opener for "Almost Queen," 2023) and has returned to the Pride Festival every year with her band "Stunt Double.

"As a singer, she takes inspiration from artists such as Tracy Chapman, Nina Simone and Allen Stone. Writing her own music has always been a passion and she can't wait to share some of her work. This is the first time Elaina will be participating in a writers round and is excited to get out of her comfort zone!
