The 317 Proyecto returns for another rendition of LIVE Salsa Fridays located at McGowan Hall!Started in winter of 2024, the 317 Proyecto is an exciting new ensemble based in Indianapolis specializing in Salsa, Latin Jazz, and Traditional Music from the Caribbean. Led by bassist Jacob Smith, this group brings the classic sounds heard in New York City during the height of the Salsa and Mambo craze.
McGowan Hall is a beautiful venue located in the heart of the historic Old Northside. This Knights of Columbus Hall is a multi-use venue, with several rooms able to cater to several different types of events. This event takes place in the bar lounge, making for a very intimate and energizing experience.
This event is 21+ only, doors open at 8:30 PM and the band starts at 9 PM. A $10 cover charge is required of all attendees.
