Live Rhythms
Live Rhythms is a collaboration between a group of live musicians and holistic facilitators.
We bring together beats, melodies and voices for you to dance to. This is going to be an evening of intimacy, emotions, madness and connection. Prepare to be invited to let go of it all... prepare to swing, rock, touch, feel, move, shake, scream, slide, laugh and cry.
We’re opening a safe, conscious and non-judgemental space that allows you to creatively self-express and connect to your body through sound, movement and play.
We’re taking you on a semi-guided journey exploring emotions and themes of transformation. We will dance, we will feel, we will release, it will be liberating, it will be ecstatic!
Live music will accompany you on this journey followed by a chance to integrate and meet after the dance embraced by the complimentary warmth of a herbal infusion, tea, fruit and chocolate.
We look forward to seeing you there and dancing together.

Who are we?

We’re a group of passionate artists, musicians and holistic practitioners.
We came together with the desire to offer a new format to dancing together moved by live music in a safe, conscious, respectful and sober space. The desire is to allow the organic flow of a semi-improvised live jam session to move your body in an intuitive way and guide you through stages of emotions and energy levels.

Zoë Anne R
Zoë will guide and facilitate the dance. Passionate about life, psychology, movement, poetry art and sound. She is a Tantra and Yoga teacher with a background in ballet and acting. She loves to sing! Also, great at all things production, works in film and loves bikes.

Having participated in ecstatic dances and 5 rhythm events she felt that these practices could be enriched by providing live beats and melodies created in the moment especially for and inspired by, the movers.

Shen is a multi-style guitarist with over 20 years experience in playing music in bars, restaurants, festivals and clubs. He specialises in Spanish guitar and is a student of flamenco and medieval folk styles. His style was developed playing in ceremonies, communal gatherings and with the Oneness Jam Family.

He started the percussion workshop company, 'Percussively' in 2020 which facilitates percussion workshops all over the country.
