Kick off NLR Public Library System's first annual One Community, One Book series with a live reading and free cookies at Blackberry Market!One Community, One Book is a nation-wide project to bring our communities together under the banner of a single book (city-wide book club, anyone!?).
This year, NLRPLS will be hosting a series of themed events, programs, and giveaways all centered on Michiko Aoyama's beautiful collection of stories What You Are Looking For Is In The Library.
We're kicking off the series with a live-reading at Blackberry Market! Join us for a cozy evening of vignettes and conversation from your local librarians, grab a free cookie, hear all about the programs we've planned for the month ahead, and get your free copy of our featured book.
This event is open to patrons of all ages. We'll begin welcoming guests at 5:30 PM with our first reading taking place shortly after.
