What happens when sound lingers, interrupts, and transforms the space around us?
Join Rabbitlight and Nick Lesley for an evening of live sound performances that explore the space between the ethereal and the physical.
Moving between electronic atmospheres, resonant percussion, and moments of disruption, these performances extend the exploration of absence, presence, and perception beyond the gallery walls during our exhibit, The Color of Silence.
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for exhibition viewing. Performances begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Garden. Dress accordingly for the weather.
Rabbitlight (Mónica Luz Camacho and Francisco Eme) creates immersive indie-electronic soundscapes blending ethereal melodies with lyrics in Spanish and English. Nick Lesley uses drums, microphones, and guitar pedals to conjure shifting drones and resonances that blur the boundaries between electronic and acoustic sound.
