The Koger Center for the Arts is proud to present "Live Outside" for its second season. Join us on Sundays at 5 p.m. between August 25 through October 13 for free concerts on the Koger Center Plaza Stage.
The Koger Center Presents Live Outside series is sponsored by Prisma Health.
From dreamy melancholy to sharp indie rock and roll, Bones Hamilton (Columbia, SC) runs the gamut of both glass half full and devil may care conversations. Enlisting the sounds of Lanier Smith (Rex Darling) on bass and Emily McCollum (Stagbriar, Hillmouse) on drums. Spinning, loud, dimly optimistic, and positively pessimistic tunes from the downtrodden to the hopeful, begs the question "will these questions ever get answered?"
Hailing from Columbia, SC, Stress Fractures delivers a raw and emotionally charged blend of emo-tinged rock and roll that resonates with introspection and self-reflection. Their debut self-titled album, released in January of last year, joins themes of loss with raw intensity. The brainchild of singer-songwriter Marty Hacker-Mullen, the band is rounded out by bassist Liz Neyman, guitarist Nikhil Vaishnav, and drummer Nicky Cook as they deliver their punchy and energetic take on modern emo rock.
