Natalie Oliveri
Chicago born Rnb Latin Soul songstress is a Vocalist, Recording Artist, Songwriter & multi instrumentalist. Her musical career has led her on stages in Tokyo, Paris, Italy, New York, Los Angeles, Amsterdam and London as well as performance/show collaborations with Gloria Estefan, Brothers Johnson & other Soul Rnb Grammy winning artists and producers over the years.
Natalie has been a featured Vocalist & Topline writer for over 50 International albums & project singles which have given her topline status on the billboard jazz, features under Jakarta records, Ropeadope , Sony , Warner Chappell, NBN, as well as international music award nomination success (IPMA Portugal Siraiva from Eurovision).
abs
With fusions of neo-soul, contemporary R&B, and electro-pop music, she creates a unique sonic experience for her listeners. Her soulful melodies romanticise her life-story, with a message of self-confidence. abs' unmatched energy on stage draws live audiences in, including her performances at Glastonbury, Tramlines, and her UK Tours.
Avangelia
Singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer from Brooklyn, New York. Grounded in the belief that genre is purely a construct, her full-length debut, "Angel In The Wild," blends neo-soul, banjo-driven R&B, jazz, rock, and folk music. Her songs have been featured on NPR's Tiny Desk Top Shelf, TIDAL and received praise from KCRW's Novena Carmel, Kaelin Ellis, Bob Power and Earth, Wind & Fire.
She is also co-founder of The Circle, Brooklyn, NY. A unique Live Artist showcase supporting new talent. So we are delighted to be partnering with the Circle for this event.
Parisa East
Parisa East is a UK singer, rapper and songwriter blending influences of jazz, hip hop and reggae with her Persian heritage. Her distinct sound has elements of hip hop, reggae and RnB, and she has been likened to Ella Fitz-Gerald, Anita Baker & Sade. Complimented on her vibe and tone, Parisa flows with jazzy intonations and is strong in the art of freestyle. She sits well on a range of genres, collaborating with different producers and musicians, on stage and in the studio.
Past performances include support slots with Akua Naru, Donae'o, Children of Zeus, Tiana Major9, Mungo's HiFi, plus appearances at Soundwave Croatia, Boomtown Fair, Ningbo Creative Industries Fair in China, Rock City Nottingham and Peggy's Skylight.
In 2022 she was nominated by BBC Introducing's Dean Jackson for the AIM Independent Music Awards Local Hero, East Midlands.
Parisa is also an entrepreneur with many years experience promoting live music events, supporting local talent, and providing quality cultural experiences in Nottingham. In 2009 she launched Acoustickle, a live music platform to spotlight emerging artists, giving musicians encouragement to share their original compositions to a respectful audience. With decorated venues and intimate, inspiring performances spaces, the immersive atmosphere captivates all that are present.
Vee Adu
19-year-old singer-songwriter from Nottingham, making waves in the local music scene with her soulful tone and powerhouse vocals. Drawing from a colourful musical background of jazz, soul and blues, her original material delves into the emotional complexities of betrayal, loss and love, softly reeling listeners in with her relatable, but authentic storytelling.
Having performed at a variety of venues across the country, including Metronome, Bodega and Rough trade, Vee has successfully captivated audiences with her dynamic live shows, highlighting her incredible vocal abilities time and time again. Her guest appearances at the Broadway Cinema, Pitcher and Piano, and Peggy’s Skylight have further showcased her vocal versatility as an artist, performing for crowds in very intimate venues. Also, she has recently opened for 'Liam Bailey' in Rescue rooms Nottingham, allowing larger crowds to follow the story that she tells through her music, creating a beautiful supportive community in her area.
Additionally, her participation in festivals like Newark Festival, The Green Festival and Green Hustle Festival highlights her growing presence in the music community, further solidifying her in the up-and-coming music industry.
Vee’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed; she has been on Notts TV! With each performance, Vee connects with her audience on a personal level, leaving a lasting impression and building a loyal fan base. In addition to this, this incredible upcoming artist has been features in the Left lion newspaper multiple times, which has broadened her musical reach around the UK. This has all had an impact on her social media, helping her develop as young, independent artist, while further improving on her emotion-provoking music style.
As she continues to evolve as an artist, Vee Adu is poised to make a significant impact in the music world, inviting listeners to join her on this exciting journey and to let themselves be free throughout it.
