Tom Lovato loves a variety of music from Contemporary Christian, Country, Rock, Pop, Motown, and Jazz. As such, he writes with a lot of variety so is not trapped in that “one-song-sounds-like-all-the-others” syndrome.
Tom has been a long-time (15+ years) worship leader and is a big fan of the Beatles, James Taylor, Paul Simon, The Eagles, Chicago, Billy Joel, and the great Carole King. Some of his favorite Christian artists and bands are Keith Green, Twila Paris, Rich Mullens, Phil Keaggy, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, Big Tent Revival, Pray For Rain & Chris Tomlin
