About this Event
The Fanoplane improvisational ensemble () is, as its name suggests, an improvisational group. It never rehearses nor uses written music, and its lineup varies from performance to performance, so each performance is unique.
Fanoplane co-founder Bob Boilen (synthesizer); Jerry Busher (drums); Doug Kallmeyer (bass & electronics); Patrick Whitehead (horns); Dan Gutstein (spoken word); Brie Anderson (baritone guitar); Maya Renfro (violin & voice); Sarah Hughes (sax & flute); Sarah Paz Hyde (handpan & voice); Fanoplane co-founder Ted Zook (bass cello)..
