To highlight and celebrate those connections, Yankton Community Library (YCL) will be hosting five local musicians to perform in the library each Wednesday over the noon hour during September as part of Library Card Sign-Up Month. This year’s national theme, “A Library Card Hits All The Right Notes,” is a reminder that libraries offer something for everyone – no matter your age, background, or goals. Whether you’re checking out a classic story or browsing for something new, finding harmony with library programming, fine-tuning your focus in a study room or vibing in a cozy nook, there’s a seat in the front row at YCL for you!
Scheduled to perform at YCL during Library Card Sign-Up Month are Monte Gulick (Sept. 2), Ted Powell (Sept. 9), Justine Crawford (Sept. 16), Casey Rossiter (Sept. 23) and Stephanie Serck (Sept. 30). Their performances are free and open to the public, so we’d love to have you join us!
