Join Compass Point home of Dirty Girl Adventures on the Courtyard for an evening of AWESOME MUSIC starting with a great duo, With A Twist followed by the Shakedown Strings.
We had a GREAT time with Shakedown Strings in the Backroom Bar last fall and can't wait to have them play on the Courtyard for you! Whether you're a Dead Head, a Bluegrass fan or just a fan of musical talent, the Shakedown Strings will keep you entertained! Shakedown Strings is a trio composed of Adam Galblum on vocals and violin, Clayton DeLong on vocals and acoustic guitar, and Rick Willoughby on vocals and upright bass. Celebrating the music of the Grateful Dead, these long-time friends and collaborators draw upon their improvisational prowess to explore the Dead’s many songs and musical ideas. Based out of Kansas City, MO, Shakedown Strings brings energy, passion, and joy to the stage.
Our opening duo, With A Twist, is excellent! Marvin and Ann Hunt have a long musical history together. They play a wide mix of music spanning decades, you'll find yourself singing along.
Gates, Canoe Bar and dinner will be open at 6pm
