Corty Byron: A Musical Chameleon with Deep Roots
Corty has been a cornerstone of the Lancaster, PA music scene for decades, carving out a career as dynamic and authentic as his sound. Starting his journey as a gigging teen, Corty’s path has been anything but ordinary, marked by eclectic performances and a relentless drive to evolve. His music, steeped in Americana roots, vintage blues, and soul-drenched authenticity, resonates with audiences as both a solo acoustic artist and a seasoned rock ‘n’ roll band leader.
The road behind him tells a story as rich as his music: tours of Ireland, concerts in prisons, a life lived in Venice Beach, opening for classic rock legends, and a commitment to social activism and community service. In March 2024, his artistry was recognized with the ‘Best Blues Artist Award’ from the Central PA Music Hall of Fame.
Live in The Lounge performances are free events (no cover!) so come in and enjoy our green goods while soaking in good vibes and great music!
