LIVE MUSIC: !FIASCO!

Washington DC-based ¡FIASCO!’s repertoire is inspired by a variety of sounds including droning folk songs, shimmering indie shoegaze, fuzzy grunge rock, and a variety of electronic and synthesized sounds. The groups studio recordings, 2020’s “Arson” and 2021’s “Post-Truth” present all original compositions and encompass a broad range of stylistic and tonal colors, equal parts contemplative and aggressive, searching and searing. DC jazz tastemakers CapitalBop says of the group, “[¡FIASCO!] fuses experimental jazz with elements of acid rock and punk rock...a deep imagination and philosophical temperament.”
