We are excited about this new project and Brass Pony is producing a crowd pleasing show wherever they go. Keyboardist Andrew Ayers definitely brings the stage to life belting out songs and hammering the keyboard as he plays at monster level on the ivories. Looking to follow the footsteps of the likes of Chris Spies, John Anthony, Dr. John, Professor Longhair and others. His passion for music shows in his stage antics and his sheer enjoyment of playing... he'll be stomping on the stage while playing long key-shaking waterfall solos.
Bassist Christian Heiden adds the low freak-uency jams to the tunes as well as support vocals in a range of highs and lows. His has a charismatic stage presence and a passion to venture into the musical unknown as he easily follows an insane keyboardist that develops twists and turns at every measure. His steadfast lock-in with the drummer keeps a backbeat that always moves the audience.
Drummer Cameron Alidore
(Smang It Drums) is also a seasoned professional performer and percussion educator. His ease and flow of playing is a joy to watch as he swerves, ducks then lunges the band forward into the abyss of Smuckers Jazz Jam. More support vocals from Cameron round out the threesome's choral fullness. Together these three ungovernable performers will have you moving.
