Vanny Preem is an upcoming rapper that is originally from Long Island, New York. He then moved to Raleigh North Carolina at young age and began to experiment different ways to express art. By the time Preem was age 16 he started working behind the scenes with the music collective called Hardknocks ENT in 2015. Preem started rapping and making music shortly after being around the collective for some time and dropped his 1st song in 2018. Preem has dropped 1 mixtape (LAST SUMMER TAPES in 2021) and 3 eps (STATS OFF THE BENCH in 2020, UNDER THE INFLUENCE in 2021, and SAD, THROWING GANGS WHILE VICENTE FERNANDEZ PLAYS IN THE BACKGROUND in 2022).

Maryland native, SlimYungMan is a versatile artist, who mainly produces and promotes his instrumentals by releasing them or collaborating with artists who is able to compliment his art. He is the founder of the collaborative and record label in development, Hardknocks Entertainment. He now lives in Raleigh, NC and is working on promoting music out of the state.

Hardknocks Entertainment is a collective made up of the artists who will share the stage, Coberzz, AUX, JE$TAH, and Jam Roc. The group was found by SlimYungMan and Jam Roc. The sound is very diverse which allows the group to produce genre bending projects. Lyrical, hype, and always psychedelic, makes the group's sound very distinct from other original artists in the city.
