Umbrella Cymru provide specialist gender and sexual diversity support to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people and their families in Wales. The charit has a variety of projects including supporting victims of crime, educating young people, helping Welsh gender patients, and supporting people as they come out. Act Happy are a folk duo from Newport who use their musical talents to raise money for charities in the South Wales area. They are registed as a non-profit social enterprise. You can find out more about their work and their music at www.acthappymusic.com

Act Happy will be joined by local musicians Our Mother The Mountain and Crisis Talks. Our Mother The Mountain is a solo singer/singwriter. Their music can be described as 'doom folk', with gravelly vocals and dark, primal themes. Crisis Talks are a three peice alternative rock band who will be performing an acoustic set. Their album, Heavy The Heart, is available now and they have recorded an acoustic EP to be released in the near future.

All ticket sales will be donated to Umbrella Cymru. We want music to be accessible to all, so there is no set ticket fee. We understand that everyone's financial situation is different, so pay what you can.
