Come rest in a room that has held prayer for over a century.

On Friday, July 3, during Essence Festival weekend, join author and sound healing practitioner AUTHOR for a community sound bath inside the Church at Hotel Peter & Paul, the restored nineteenth-century church in the Marigny. New Orleans jazz artist and NAACP ACT-SO Gold Award recipient, Deuce Brown plays live alongside the singing bowls and chimes, so the whole room is carried by sound, breath, and music.

This is your hour to lie down and let go before leaning into all the excitement of Essence Festival. To breathe, soften, and be held in a space built for sound.

AUTHOR will guide the session and weave in a short reading from her debut spiritual wellness memoir, Name It. Believe It. Author It. Signed copies will be available.

To bring: Your favorite blanket and a yoga mat. Water and eye masks will be provided - while supplies last.
