A pioneer among vocal improvisers and an influential educator, Judy Niemack has performed and recorded alongside many of the greatest names in jazz, earning her place as one of the genre’s most respected voices. From New York’s iconic Village Vanguard to stages across Europe, she has delighted audiences with her elegant phrasing, imaginative interpretations, and unmistakable style.
In Summer Into Fall, Judy explores the emotional landscapes of seasonal change through a thoughtfully curated setlist. She will breathe fresh life into timeless standards such as "Autumn Leaves," "September In The Rain," "The Summer Knows," and the classic "Summertime," alongside beloved Brazilian gems like "Summer Samba" and "The Island." These songs will be reinterpreted through a rich variety of grooves — from bossa nova to swing, from funk to lyrical ballads — offering listeners a vibrant and immersive journey.
With a career that spans five decades and a repertoire that bridges the American songbook, Brazilian treasures, and her own acclaimed compositions, Judy Niemack continues to redefine what it means to be a jazz vocalist.
