Join us in Electric Park every Saturday in September + October for FREE live music presented by Manor Records.
On September 28th we're hosting True Lions for a fun afternoon of great music, cold drinks, and cool vibes.
True Lions combine strong yet delicate harmonies with clever metaphors and recall 90s classic lo-fi indie pop and American “twee” groups such as Tiger Trap, Go Sailor, and the Softies. Lead songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Alison Hawkins (guitar, keys, vocals) was initially joined by Mikala “Miki P” Petillo (bass, drums, vocals) for their self-released debut EP in February 2019, Cute at Best, with the help of tracking engineer Ross Brown (Fullbloods, Shy Boys). Their songs became locally known for playfully confronting fierce subject matter and calling out sexism in the music scene.
