LIVE HUMANS - An Eclectic Night of Artistic Humanity bridges the blistering hook laden punk of The Lonely Trojans (reuniting for the first time in 30 years) with intimate, raw, original acoustic songs of Jack Evan Johnson and the spoken words of the celebrated vagabond poet, James Norman resulting in an uplifting and inspiring night of some real mofos laying it on the line for you.
Jack Evan Johnson Jack Evan Johnson has been writing songs, touring, and releasing independent records for close to 20 years. He walked away from a journalism career in Las Vegas to become the explosive, telecaster-wielding frontman for Nashville rock ‘n’ roll band Jack Shit, but is just as likely seen alone on a quiet stage with his 50-year-old Martin acoustic guitar. His latest release, the solo EP and accompanying short film “Vernal,” is Johnson’s most intimate to date, recorded live at his late father’s property in Utah, shortly after his passing. They’re playing it on the radio in Nashville and his dad would think that’s pretty damn cool.

James Norman - Travelling poetJames Norman will read poems from his book "How to Set Yourself on Fire & Call It Art" (Zeitgeist Press). A carpenter, poet and photographer, James still digs ditches, when that's all the work available. He is a humble man from humble origins fighting to the death with his own ego. But aren't we all... He also likes to climb mountains in his free time. James Norman is a lifelong vagabond who always pulls the Fool card.
