About this Event

Join Us for Music & Storytelling with Sylvia Tabb Lee!

Come on down to Zion Baptist Church for an unforgettable in-person experience. YOU are in for a very special treat and a journey back in time as Sylvia Tabb-Lee shares with you the stories and songs of a time when our nation was beginning, and the African slaves , were becoming part of the tapestry of this great nation. Slaves' survival depended on their faith to eventually feel freedom, which is the foundation of America.

Sylvia Tabb-Lee, our native-born Williamsburg resident with over 30 years in education and historical interpretation, whose motto is “Each one, Teach one” has a repertoire of stories that will touch every one of your emotions in her passionate storytelling and songs. She was trained at New York’s Academy of Dramatic Arts, and learned, in perfect balance, to engage you, educate you and wow you!
