About this Event

Live from the Bridge House presents a night of top notch comedians giving some new material an outing. You might have seen these fabulous comedians on your screens or heard them in your ears. This is an inclusive night that is built around a friendly and safe atmosphere.

For our first show of the new year, we have Isy Suttie. Isy is a multiple award winning powerhouse of comedy with a smash hit podcast 'The Things We Do for Love' and her incredible performance as Dobbie in Peep Show.

We also have the fantastic Alasdair Beckett-King. His incredibly crafted comedy videos with high-end animation have earned him viral success and he has recently had appearances on BBC's Mock the Week. He was also winner of the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2017 and has been heard on BBC Radio 4.

Finally we have Michael Odewale who's debut show '#BlackBearsMatter won best show in both the 2019 Leicester and Hastings Comedy festivals. He also received a best new comer nomination at the Edinburgh Fringe 2019. Michael has also appeared on Mock the Week, The Mash Report and Chris Ramseys Stand Up Central.

We also have resident comedian Joseph Emslie (Runner up for the Leicester Mercury Comedy Awards and Finalist for Laughing Horse New Comedian of the Year) and this will all be tied together by the hosting skills of Joseph Parsons (as heard on the BBC LGBTQ Sports Podcast and named one of Edinburgh Fringe's Top 10 LGBTQ acts by the EFC).

Due to coronavirus and other occasional stumbling blocks, lineups can change. But one thing is for certain, we will always have a fantastic line up - even if it's a different one to what we had originally booked.
