The Garden of Eden is an electrifying, soul touching, and effortlessly authentic rock band. From blues to funk, psychedelic to hard rock, folk to indie, The Garden of Eden puts a unique yet classic twist on the sound and songwriting in rock music under one consistent umbrella. The ensemble pulls an artistic inspiration from rock music’s golden age; Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, the Eagles and other classic acts.The quartet was founded by singer/songwriter, Scotty Chapman in 2021. Scotty grew up in Indiana and studied music at Ball State University, though after two short years in college, his itch to pursue a bigger dream pushed him to move to Music City. In 2017, Scotty moved to Nashville to pursue a path in music. Living the artist lifestyle he always dreamed of; living out of his van, couch surfing, living day to day and making it by from the guitar off his back, Scotty spent many years searching for the right members to form the music he believed in. Putting together small shows in East Nashville at venues like the East Room, the 5 Spot, and the Basement, he began to find his place in the Nashville rock community.
