What is it about the Norwegians and their attraction to all things dark, gloomy and sinister? Is it the Lusekofta? Is it the Fårikål? Is it the cold rain relentlessly beating down on the mountainsides?
Whatever it is, it’s good for the music! And a good example of this is the pride of the Norwegian west coast: Dunbarrow! We’re stoked to welcome them to the stage of Geronimo’s FGT on Saturday the 24th of May!
Heavy swinging, moody-grooving, heavy rock, oozing of inspiration by unpolished demos by 70’s heavy rock bands, combined with a timeless craftiness and catchy songwriting, makes Dunbarrow stand out in the 2025 heavy rock scene!
With them as support for the evening is none other than our favorite rockers in The Spell! If you ain’t a stranger to Geronimo’s FGT, then these cats shouldn’t be strangers to you either, since they delivered several mind-crushingly heavy and electrically groovy shows on our stage before!
The seeds of the band were sown somewhere between Stockholm 2022 and Birmingham 1970, with a detour to the Californian desert in ‘72. The seed sprouted into ever bushier moustaches,and ever flarier bell bottom jeans, and The Spell became the entity of sin & murder in paisley pattern that it is today!
