About this Event

Uzbek pianist Behzod Abduraimov returns to Linehan Hall with an evening of masterpieces, including Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet suite and Ravel’s Gaspard de la Nuit. An international sensation, Abduraimov has stunned the musical world through highly praised solo appearances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Orchestre de Paris, and Amsterdam Concertgebouw, as well as recitals at Carnegie Hall and BBC Proms. Abduraimov’s concert program will include a rare American performance of a work by fellow Uzbek, Dilorom Saidaminova.

Ravel: Gaspard de la Nuit

Rachmaninov: Selected preludes

Tickets:

ASSIGNED SEATING. Tickets are $45/adult and $10/student. A FREE ticket for youths ages 9-17 comes with each purchase of an adult ticket. After you purchase your ticket, our office will call you to determine your seating.

Venue directions:

From downtown Baltimore, take I-95 south, then take Exit 47B and follow clearly marked signs to Route 166 and UMBC. As you enter the campus, proceed straight through the first roundabout, and then turn left at the second roundabout to merge onto the inner loop of Hilltop Circle, the road that surrounds the campus. At the traffic light at Hilltop Road, take a right, and then an immediate left into Parking Lot 8.

From I-695, take Exit 12C onto Wilkens Avenue heading west. At the roundabout, turn left to enter campus on Hilltop Road. Proceed straight through the traffic light, and then take an immediate left into Parking Lot 8.

From the Washington area, take I-95 north toward Baltimore, then take Exit 47B and follow clearly marked signs to Route 166 and UMBC. Upon entering campus, proceed straight through the first roundabout, and then turn left at the second roundabout to merge onto the inner loop of Hilltop Circle, the road that surrounds the campus. At the traffic light at Hilltop Road, take a right, and then an immediate left into Parking Lot 8.

Parking:

The Performing Arts and Humanities Building, recognizable by its distinctive stainless steel façade, is located next to Lot 8.

Concertgoers are welcome to park in Lot 8 for all evening and weekend events free of charge.

The Concert Hall lobby is located on the side of the building closest to the traffic light. Enter underneath the Dance Cube that juts out from the building. The Concert Hall’s box office is located in the lobby area.


Additional details:
  • Masks are encouraged but not required.
  • No food or beverages are allowed inside the theatre. Water will be available outside the theatre during intermission.
