ProBox TV’s flagship broadcast Wednesday Night Fights returns to Plant City, Florida on October 18.
Every other Wednesday, join the champs Chris Algieri, Juan Manuel Márquez, and Paulie Malignaggi as they call all-action, 50/50 fights, featuring the hottest rising stars in boxing.
The evening’s main event will see Brandon Glanton lock horns with Carlos Fromenta over 10 rounds in the cruiserweight division. Glanton (17-2, and 14 KOs) is no stranger to the network, his most recent appearance being a majority-decision loss to Solan Asbarov in Dubai prior to split-decision loss to David Light last year. Cuban Fromenta (12-1, 7 KOs) comes off 11 straight victories, his only career defeat coming in his pro debut.
The chief support will see the undefeated Mexican born Australian based Mateo Tapia (15-0, 9 KOs) collide with Mexico’s Eric Robles (9-2, 8 KOs) over 8 rounds at supper middleweight. Both men make their American debut on ProBox TV.
Florida’s Darrelle Valsaint (9-0, 7 KOs) squares off with Brazilian Diego Allan Ferreira Iablonski (10-1, 6 KOs) and Najee Lopez (7-0, 6 KOs) faces Khaineel Wheeler (7-3, 6 KOs), both bouts scheduled for 8 rounds at 168 pounds.
Puerto Rican Jaycob Gomez (7-0-1, 5 KOs) takes on Brazil’s Robenilson Vieira (5-0, 1 KOs) at super bantamweight over 6 rounds, Ariel Perez makes his professional debut against Anthony Jerez at light heavyweight and Canadian Jaquan Carry will also be in action.
