Playing resonator guitar, foot-drums and harmonica, his performances draw on influences from traditional artists of the 1920s-40s while delivering original songs steeped in emotion, storytelling and rhythm.
Whether leaning into haunting acoustic blues or stomping boogie grooves, Martyn’s music feels like a timeless journey through American roots sounds - performed with energy, character and heart.
