Artist Biography

Yonathan Then, given name of Mickey Then, is a bachata singer who rose to fame in 2010 as a vocalist and main composer of the band 24 Horas, born in New York City on July 25, 1990, of Dominican parents, has been nominated several times in the Latin Billboard Awards and Premios Lo Nuestro, In addition to being a composer of great successes.

At the age of 14, Mickey Then discovered a passion for composing and playing the piano. After having recorded several songs at the age of 17, comes his first opportunity to create the band 24 Hours together with his cousin Joell and his friend Jiory.

In 2010, along with 24 Horas, their first album "Los Inolvidables" debuted as the tropical album of the year, reaching number 4 #1 on the chart. Also, nominations in the Latin Billboards and Premio Lo Nuestro in 2012.

His last album released with 24 hours entitled "TIEMPO" in 2016 managed to position himself in the Top 10 of tropical posters with the song "Aun me Perteneces" while "Por tu Culpa" reached number 1 on the tropical billboard. His album "Tiempo" was nominated for the 2017 Lo Nuestro Awards.

His album "Tiempo" was nominated for the Premios Lo Nuestro 2017 and after this, he decided to embark on his solo career and prepare for his first release.

Now working as an independent artist, Mickey Then is making his debut solo album, which will be released in July 2020.

His latest single "Antojito" is climbing among the favorite dancer of dancers and listeners.

The official video has reached more than 1.5 million views on YouTube in just four months. Mickey Then is also a very successful songwriter and producer. Three-time winner of the IMC award.

From his independent label, Young Abuelo Music Group launched his first solo production after almost 8 years of presence in the industry as voice and main composer of the group 24 Horas.

Mickey Then is also a composer and producer who has won the BMI award three times, thanks to his compositions and work for artists such as Prince Royce, Don Omar, Akon, CNCO, Frank Reyes, Luis Vargas, and Américo among others.
