Sebastian Reynolds is a music producer and composer based between Oxford and Swindon, UK. His debut album, Canary, was released via PinDrop in September 2023. The first single, Cascade, received airplay on BBC 6Music from Deb Grant on New Music Fix and Steve Lamacq. Support comes from Cardiff-based ambient dub techno artist obrasendub, who interweaves dub beats and electronics with snippets of found sounds of the countryside, the city, and the hum of daily life. Well known for electronic music events across Wales and the South of England, every obrasendub performance is unique and presented via his bespoke analogue setup, with no computer in sight. The result is a spontaneous sonic journey as beguiling as it is unexpected.
Second single, Fetus, was released with a video premiere from EarMilk and received a play from Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6Music. In 2024 he released a series of singles to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Sir Roger Bannister Four Minute Mile in May 2024 and the Paris Olympics in the Summer, the tracks received wide support including plays from Don Letts and Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music. In July 2025 Sebastian released his collaborative album New Beginnings which received airplay across the BBC network.
